What is Euroadventures all about?
The company got its start by a former study abroad student, who landed the dream “gap year” job as travel & student life coordinator at the program he was an alumnus of, Gonzaga University in Florence, Italy.
What started as a position organizing after class soccer games, student nights in a pub, or some regional travel in Tuscany or down to Rome, turned into a purely travel focused position designing and leading weekly excursions for 100-150 students from the university to places like Barcelona, Prague, Budapest, Krakow, Sicily and many more.
During these two years from 2002-2004, he would hear from countless students attending other programs in Florence, and other European cities, about the lack of travel options catered specifically to the study abroad student and wanting to join these trips he was offering to the Gonzaga University students. Continually hearing the demand for this type of service, the ball got rolling and the idea for a study abroad student focused travel business was born. So after two years of working for the university, and with his personal travel experience as a student and backpacker to his professional experience creating and leading trips from European weekends to African safaris in places like Kenya and Tanzania, he founded Euroadventures in 2004 to create a specialty travel company catering to the group travel and study abroad industry.
Now in 2024, in our 21st year of business and having taken tens of thousands of customers on some pretty amazing adventures, we have expanded beyond the study abroad and youth travel market to include everything from mid-range to luxury travel, business groups, sports travel, religious pilgrimage groups, and even event management in the destination of your choice.
