Italian paradise is a trip to the emerald waters of the Mediterranean in Italy’s glitziest seaside towns Sorrento, Positano, & Amalfi. Experience the fabled island of Capri and its Blue Grotto, as well as the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. This is an amazing beach weekend in Italy’s most famous resort area with lots of time for swimming, boat cruises with cliff jumping, Italy’s best pizza and limoncello!
Itinerary
Thursday - Day 1 Arrival on your own, room check-in available from 3pm (you will be sent exact instructions on how to arrive). Activities start from Friday morning.
*Transportation Package - Depart Florence/Rome on Thursday evening with late arrival that night to Sorrento.
**Pick up available from Naples airport (10:30pm) and transfer to Sorrento by request.
Friday - Day 2 Breakfast included. Early morning departure to take the 30 min. ferry over to the island of Capri (included). Shortly after arrival to Capri, you'll board your boat for a scenic 90 minute cruise circling the full 360 degrees of the island to take in the incredible scenery including the famous Faraglioni rocks. After arrival back to Capri's port, you'lll have the rest of the day to explore Capri Town and its shopping, famous gardens, try the famous "Caprese" sandwich, or soak up the sun at the beach. During your free afternoon you'll also have the option to see the famous Blue Grotto - one of the 7 natural wonders of the world!
Friday night is a free night to relax, or enjoy some great local cuisine or nightlife. We recommend heading to Piazza Tasso, the main square in Sorrento where the city comes alive with its many restaurants, bars and cafes to experience athe charm of a southern Italian evening .
Saturday - Day 3 Breakfast included. This morning you'll head to the breathtaking town of Positano along the remarkable rugged coastline of the "Costiera Amalfitana".. This beautiful city built into the cliffs of the coast is the perfect place to relax on the beach, swim, shop, and try some of Italy's finest seafood. After several hours in Positano you'll then continue on to the town of Amalfi with several hours to explore before the trip back to Sorrento. Free evening.
Sunday - Day 4 Breakfast included. Check out and departure on your own. Free day to explore Sorrento, relax, or go to Pompeii.
*Transfportation package - Afternoon departure for return to Florence/Rome (arrival late evening).
